Privacy Policy for LittleHelpling Product Copy

LittleHelpling Product Copy helps Shopify merchants generate reviewable product copy suggestions from existing Shopify product data.
This Privacy Policy is provided for transparency and is not legal advice.
1. Information we access
LittleHelpling Product Copy accesses Shopify product data needed to provide the app's features. This may include:
- Product titles
- Product descriptions
- Product types
- Vendors
- Tags
- Product handles
- Product images
- Image alt text
- Search engine metadata
The app does not intentionally collect or store Shopify customer personal data for product copy generation.
2. How we use information
We use Shopify product data to generate product copy suggestions, including:
- Product descriptions
- Product titles
- Search engine titles
- Search engine descriptions
We also use store-related app data to provide app functionality, including:
- Usage tracking
- Generation history
- Brand Voice settings
- Billing state
- Applied-copy records
3. AI processing
LittleHelpling Product Copy sends relevant product information and Brand Voice settings to an AI provider to generate copy suggestions. Generated suggestions are returned to the app for merchant review.
The app does not automatically publish generated copy. Merchants choose which fields to apply before changes are written back to Shopify.
4. Information we store
LittleHelpling Product Copy may store the following app data:
- Shop domain and installation/session-related records
- Brand Voice settings
- Usage records
- Generation history
- Generated copy suggestions
- Apply status and timestamps
- Billing-related plan status
We do not store OpenAI API keys, Shopify API secrets, or merchant payment details in the app database.
5. Data sharing
LittleHelpling Product Copy shares product data with the AI provider only as needed to generate product copy suggestions. We do not sell merchant data. We do not use merchant data for unrelated advertising.
6. Data retention
We retain app data for as long as needed to provide the app's features, maintain generation history, support billing and usage tracking, and comply with applicable requirements.
When a merchant uninstalls the app or requests deletion, we will delete or anonymize app data where required and technically feasible.
7. Shopify compliance webhooks
LittleHelpling Product Copy supports Shopify's mandatory compliance webhooks for customer data requests, customer redaction, and shop redaction.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect app data. Access to production systems and secrets is restricted.
9. Merchant control
Merchants remain in control of what generated copy is applied to their Shopify products. LittleHelpling Product Copy generates reviewable suggestions and applies only selected fields after merchant approval.
